Promotional problems are given the top priority in this case. A number of manufacturers blur concepts covering endurance and climbing angle. However, great differences will be discovered during its application. Take the endurance as an example, in most cases, manufacturers conduct test in a flat road with the weight of 70kg and the constant speed of 20 km/h. Thus, the data given by manufacturers is regarded as an ideal data, while actually it is hard to achieve. In other words, it can be treated as the upper limit of the battery. Another problem is the safety of electric skateboards. It has been only two to three years since the commercial production of electric skateboards. Thus, the mature industrial standards haven’t been developed, which means that unqualified products are still in the market. The core components of electric skateboard are electronic speed controller (ESC), power bridge and battery pack. As long as one of the three components goes wrong, the consequences will be serious. Among them, mature solutions of ESC like the balance cars and twisting cars can be used for references. What needs to be optimized and improved is the control experience, such as the starting, acceleration, brake and handling of accidents. Besides, the remote signal link need to be noted. There are several companies conducting public programs. From the remote controllers’ shell, it is easy to tell which company it belongs to. In crossroads and places with surveillance cameras, disturbance are so severe that some boards may lose control.

What’s more, the power bridge also has many public versions, which lay emphasis on its stability and low cost. The majority of manufacturers adopts public versions in efforts to reduce the cost and lower the after-sale rate. The battery pack is the most worth-mentioning. Unlike ESC and the power bridge, its size, positioning and layout differs from manufacturers to manufacturers. As a result, every manufacture has their own design. Some irresponsible manufacturer even doesn’t give their battery pack a protection board, which is equivalent to a large Samsung mobile phone with combustibles. Some manufacturers assemble the battery in a quite simple way, while hardly calculating the heat dissipation and the heat of the nickel sheet and not considering the extreme conditions of the battery. In most cases, problems occur in the later period of the battery life. In general, electric skateboards still belong to a new industry, which have not experienced market screening. With products of various quality, some manufacturers only plan to make profits without caring about its quality.

When you purchase, please don’t choose the cheap one. It’s a time bomb in a way.
